The concert was 100% Awesome (but only 10% Adam)

I can not take credit for this photo. Unfortunately, I have never been his close to Adam. You can find it and others on Adam's official website.
Yesterday I attended the awesome American Idol concert in Salt Lake City, UT. The powers that be kept me waiting for Adam Lambert like they had all season long and yes-- the wait was totally worth it. The only thing they could have improved on this concert was more Adam. (I would have preferred 100% Adam but we can't get everything we want.) Our boy was uber hot! It's a must see! Check out these Adam Lambert concert videos

Michael Sarver: Grade C
There were no surprises here, Michael Sarver lived up to the same standard he brought to the stage on the show. So if you liked him than you'd like him in the concert. Only problem was he wasn't Adam Lambert.

Megan Joy: B-
Megan Joy delivered her first song and blew away all of my expectations. She was 100% better in real life than she was on the show. Maybe it was because we were from her home state or dazed by her stunning pink dress-- but either way everyone stood up during her song to give her a standing ovation. She looked hot as always, this time in pink. Grrr I'm so jealous. Only problem was.... she wasn't Adam Lambert.

Lil: B
Lil Rounds was very entertaining, delivering on songs like 'No one' and 'Single Ladies.' I was even up off of my chair dancing at one point. I got a video of her on my cellphone and uploaded it to my Youtube channel. Only problem was she wasn't Adam Lambert.

Scott: B++ Oh my gosh the boy can make me laugh. Not only did he bring his game on tonight, he also landed a few jabs at Simon's expense. I won't spoil his jokes in case he repeats them for other shows but lets just say I was laughing my butt off. He was amazing at the piano and delivered heart rendering solos. He was even awesome in the group number where he went face to face with Matt in a piano face-off. His only problem in my opinion was that he wasn't Adam Lambert.

Anoop: B
Anoop sounded pretty much the same as he did on concert, bringing two songs he has already sung on the American Idol Stage. He chose to sing Britney Spear's Prerogative which I think he already sung twice on American Idol. I'm sorry Anoop fans, three times is not the charm in this case. Biggest problem was he wasn't Adam Lambert.

Matt: B+
Matt was full of charisma and brought his superior pianist skills on stage, even charming the crowd at one point and urging them to pull out their cell phones and wave them in the air. I caught some of his awesome dance skills on camera which you can see in on my Youtube channel.
Only problem was he wasn't Adam Lambert.

--(Intermission)--

After an agonizingly long break of 20 minutes I swear I was about to go insane from anticipation. Yet again we had to wait a few songs before we even got a hint that Adam was singing.

Allison: A+

Allison was funny, awesome and at the top of her game. We didn't get to see much of her, I'm guessing because she is still a minor and can only legally work a certain number of hours per day. Still she looks super hot in all of her songs. You can check a couple of the videos I got of her on my Youtube channel. She gets extra credit for her awesome duet with Adam Lambert.

Danny: A

At one time I was not so cool with Danny, but the moment he was kicked off of AI I felt like I wasn't giving him the credit he deserved. I loved his rendition of Hero and PYT, and he brought the same level of soul to the stage. He sang a saucy "Maria" song and brought out some salsa moves that he must have been hiding carefully throughout the show since I've never seen him dance so well on stage. He had a very emotional and uplifting message (which was borderline churchy) about reaching for your dreams before delivering his last song. In sum he was pretty darn good. Only problem was he wasn't Adam Lambert.

Adam Lambert: A++++++++++++++++++
How could Adam Lambert not earn the highest marks in my book? As you can see I have been completely Adamized, and I am an official Glambert (#1179 if you were wondering). From the moment Adam Lambert stepped on stage to the unfortunate time when he had to leave, the crowd was going wild and the cheers were deafening. To open he gave an amazing performance of Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeplin. With a disco ball spinning over head and millions of sparkles of light cascading over the audience, the crowd was awestruck as Adam delivered his dazzling performance of David Bowie's Starlight. As if it couldn't get better Adam decided to bring out his classic rendition of Mad World with an out of this world back drop. He thanked his audience before going into his Slow Ride duet with Allison. Go to my video page to see more Adam Lambert concert videos

Kris Allen: A
Kris Allen brought his game singing his highly acclaimed rendition of "Heartless" and "Ain't no sunshine." He closed the concert with "Hey Jude" and urged everyone to join in and sing. He was very good, especially when he rocked out with a guitar solo... but the only problem was... you guessed it-- he wasn't Adam Lambert.
